I have a Sandisk micro SD card for a cell phone. I put it in a card reader on the PC to drag MP3 files to it and I get a write protect error. Does the SD card adapter have a physical write protect tab that can be covered?

I should have to buy a cable to connect the cell phone to the computer.

The sandisk forum suggested tape on the side of the card. They said that worked.

There is a small grey tad on the side of the adaptor..... it says lock make sure it is not on lock!
