micro star ms 7357

have just replaced a ms g33 ms 7357 dead motherboard with a gigabyte board
g41m es2l the ms graphics board will not work in the new gigabyte board i am told that the ms graphics is only dedicated to the ms mother board can any one help please .
ps. the ms board was only 2.5 years old must last longer surely

You repalced your micro star motherboard with a gigabyte G33 ms 7357 and the video wont work?

 

the redundent graphic board from the ms 7357 will not work with the new gigabyte board i am told by the retailer that the graphics board is only dedicated to the ms motherboard

 

sorry just had a senior moment !! the micro star board is a ms 7357 and the gigabyte is a
G41M - ES2L

 

That motherboard has OnBoard video so it should work.
