    Is there any way i can purchase online JUST microsoft Access on its own not complete as an office package?

    Go to Amazon and search B0000AZJV4. Note the price, and you'll understand why most people opt to just buy MS Office.

    You could always try an online auction site such as craigslist or eBay.com. Someone at work recently told me that they needed "just MS Access" and they were able to get a copy on eBay for a winning bid of around $60.

    Note: Just make sure that you pick a reputable seller with numerous recent happy software customers (meaning 'buyers') in their feedback section.
