Its not p2p as you know it, as your not sharing say a whole set of files ( Peer Assisted not Peer to Peer ) it is only for getting MS applications and to assist users who are getting same file, they have had another similar one for years in MS File Transfer Manager, but that doesnt allow you to grab parts of a large download from other users of the same application, its a normal download manager but not freely available iirc unless your in a beta project.

so yes its p2p tech but not like p2p used with the likes of torrents as this one is for MS files only at present as a good way to get test betas out easily and quickly.
