    I lost spell check in MS Excel. How can it be recovered?

    what do you mean you lost it? does it not work, or you can't find it? tools, spelling (or f7 key), at least on mine (2000).

    Sorry for not being clear enough.....the spell check does not work. Worked yesterday today it doesn't. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi

    Which Version of Office you using?


    Have you changed offices installation at all? make sure Word works ok as its Words spellcheck that the rest of Office uses.

    Also check Tools > Options > Spellcheck to see if your dictonary language is set.


    Do a Detect and Repair from in many Office versions Help > Detect & Repair and in Office 2007 > Office Button > Excel Options > Resources > Run Microsoft Diagnostics
