My company originally had exchange running on a server that crashed and it was temporary put on a PC until a new server was bought. Needless to say, it has been about 5 months and we're finally ready to move the mailboxes to the new server. Luckily, we're using POP3 because a domain was never properly setup so the mailboxes aren't big. The network was run by another department so, I inherited these problems. My problem is, when I move the mailboxes, everything is fine until the 15 minute replication rule steps in. After that, I can no longer send email outside of the company's domain SMTP only works for internal mail. There is another factor here, OWA sits on another server in a DMZ and when I checked event viewer, there were references to OWA in it. Could it be that OWA is causing me this problem and if it is, how do I fix it. Do i disable OWA and rebuild it to point at the new server or what.
