I have a question in regards to Microsoft Office 2003. I bought a new laptop and it came with Office 2003. I was not aware that it was only a 90 day trial and now it says most features are disabled due to the fact that it was only a trial, but I am still able to open and use Word and Outlook. I would like to get full use of Office. Someone told me that I am able to go onto Limewire, a download site, and download Office Pro or Personal for free if it already came with my computer as a trial. Is this true and if so what do I do? Thank you very much.

This program that you recommended is from Sun Micro and not Microsoft, I am looking in regards to Microsoft only. I assume I will have to just purchase the full office suite from Microsoft if I want to use the program. I appreciate your suggestion but I rather not use any programs outside of Microsoft, as I never heard of this Sun Micro program.

Sun Micro is a well-respected company; I've been using their office suites for years.

No problem on you wanting to stick with Microsoft's products; bear in mind many Office versions have had numerous problems with vulnerabilities, and is probably the second-most frequently Microsoft-patched item after Windows.

Open Office does everything and more that MS Office does, is much more secure, and is totally free. With this office suite available, I can't see why anyone would want to purchase one, but that's just my opinion.

I am definately going to look into using the Sun Micro version, as I tend to take alot of what I find on this site as good advice, and so I have to believe yours is as well. The only thing I am wary about is the fact that I sync my cell phone with outlook, with my contacts and calendar and stuff, so do you know if Sun Micro has an email clietn like outlook express or outlook that works as well and might let me sync my cell phone as well? Thanks so much for your help!!!!
