Microsoft Office (Word)

I had a system reinstalled at the office here, and now when the guy opens MS Word, there are lines around everything, almost like Excel would look if you used it for a fax sheet. I imagine it's got something to do with the page format or something, but I am lost as to how I am going to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Try clearing the formating

I think they are tables.. I click on the border, and it comes up with icons in diagonal corners.. I right click on one, and I can get to "Table properties" but there is nothing there about borders.

 

Looks to me like the document template got altered. If you are not concerned about losing this formatting, close word, search for and delete the file: normal.dot

(If you want to keep it just in case, just rename it to something like normal.dot.old, or normal.dot.bak)

When you restart Word, it should re-create the document template with the default blank page.

This is a different document, but I highlighted the choice I made to take away the table lines.. Thanks to everyone here and in the chat box.
