I saved all my Microsoft Outlook Express files and folders to an external hard drive from my old computer which crashed. I took the files off of my external hard drive and now have them on my new laptop, but have no idea how to get them into outlook. I have them saved to my documents folder and they are in an outlook express folder. Each folder is listed as .dbx file, but when I go to open them I can't. I do not use outlook or outlook express on my new laptop, just my optonline.net email server, but I'd like to read and review my old messages. Is there any way to do this, and if the only way to do this is to open them in outlook or outlook express, how I do I do that? Thank you.
