Microsoft update fatal execution engine error

    Error 0X7925DC14 updating Microsoft.Net framework using KB886906.
    Using Dell Computer, Windows XP SP2, Internet Explorer 6.0.

    Process ID=0YE6C(3662) Thread ID=0XE74(3700)

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Please, in the future, do not post a Hijackthis log, until asked to.

    Though, you HJT, does look clean, IMHO, but I find you are running A LOT of unneeded programs.

    ITOH, I'd uninstall (If possible) .NET Framwork, 1.0 and install 1.1 with the SP1, and the hotfix.
