Microsoft Virtual Machine

VM, I`ve read about it and still don`t grasp what it is! There is a security update for it ( 17 min. 56k ) and I just can`t make a decision if I really need this. Would welcome some guidance.Not a game player, but I listen to alot of music. Dell 4100-1G-256RAM-WinME. Thanks, Moif.

 

Virtual Machine is pretty much a internet application that allows you to open/view different things. It basically just runs in the background and you are never aware that is really doing anything, but without it you would. I haven't downloaded anything since SP1 and don't believe I will. If I were running a big data base or server I might get the security patches. I don't anyone is interested in hacking little ol me.
