microsoft vista update problem

    hello guys i am using windows vista home edition. i updated it yesterday after updation i rebooted my system tats where the problem started. after the page where windows get loaded and shows the login page my screen went black i rebooted the system and same thing happened. so i had to restore my system. when i again switched on my system today i faced the same problem. after 10 min or so i was able to login.please help

    Basically, you're saying that, after a restore to your system's original configuration, it's taking 10 minutes to fully startup. Is that right?

    Tell us more about your computer, model, hardware specs (RAM, processor, hard drive size and free space, etc.). Is this a desktop or laptop PC?

    Since you've restored, it should perform the same as when you bought it. How long did it take to start, when you first bought it?

    i am using hp dv2000 series laptop... 1 GB ram, 160 gb hardisk.. dual core processor.. i am still facing the same proble.. should i take it to some hp care centre.. in the operating system selection page it asking u want to start windows normally or repair windows program...
