Microsoft++ Visual Library Error

After installing Music Match at the end where is ask if I want to restart my computer, I get a message that says "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information". At the top of the box it says "Microsoft++Runtime Library". What causes this error message and how can I fix it. I contacted Music Match and Microsoft. Haven't heard from either. Hope that someone can help me. Thanks in advance.
