Microsoft Word 2007: Lost .exe file?

Cannot open Microsoft Word 2007 or any documents made under it. A search for the .docx documents finds them but I cannot open them.
Word cannot be opened form the program list or desktop icon.
I think the .exe must be missing.
Ran Malwarebytes, found a Trojan and removed it.
Anyone know how to restore or find the necessary files to boot the program.
Unfortunately the computer and Office disc are 1000 miles apart.

Office 2007 has a repair feature built into the program. To see if if will fix your problem, go to add/remove, select Office 2007 and then choose the repair option...
