Hello all. This is a really dumb problem. Out of nowhere, I have little 90 degree angle lines in all four corners of my office document. How do I get rid of them?

Would these _| |_ shapes be in a pale colour, grey?

if so which Office version do you have and does it have options for Asian language support as in the Microsoft Office [version #] Language Settings app?

if so goto or to find if you have it goto your Start Menu ( this is a separate application and not inside MS Words Options ) and look through all the program listings for Microsoft Office Tools and choose Microsoft Office [version #] Language Settings from their remove all languages apart from English.

I can only give you the location for Office 2003 as thats the version I have but I'm sure Office XP had the same options.

    md2lgyk I can't follow the rules

I have Word 2000 so yours may be a bit different: Click on Tools>Options. On the "View" tab, under "Print and Web Layout options", make sure "Text Boundaries" is not checked.

Same location as on Office 2003, so I gather we may have a few bases covered md2lgyk, good catch.
