    Hi there,

I recently did up a e-mail in a Microsoft Word (2002 version). I would like to send the document as an e-mail body, not as an attachment. However, when I try to use the "send mail recipient" option I get an MAPI Error or a notice that says there is no e-mail account connected at this time.

I do use outlook for my mail. It is installed on my computer and set up as the default. This is a pretty important e-mail, so I would really like to get this working.

    Any thoughts?

For a computer I am using a Lenova 80E5 and running Windows 10. I also have a Microsoft office 365 subscription.

Here is a sample of the error.

I know this will sound weird, but do I have to have Outlook downloaded onto my computer? It is listed as my default mail app. However, when I try to run the Yodot program.... I get this notice.

Try sending it directly via e-mail-I had problems a few years ago with earlier versions of M Office, and it turned out that the old Outlook wasno longer supported, and as I did not want to update the Office, at the time, I just sent it direct to the -mail address from my hotmail account,
I do understand that you do not want to send it as an attachment, though.
The only alternative is Office 365- if you have a Office 365 business essential package, it does not include the latest Outlook- but the other two do.
Otherwise, I am afraid, as it's a Word Document, I would actually copy and paste into your e-mail.

I appreciate the thought, however, that doesn't work for me. Hotmail won't save or keep the word document format and doesn't offer many formatting options to type it directly into the e-mail. For example, there is no text wrapping option in hotmail.

I take it your later office 365 was the one without Outlook......
Unfortunately, I understand , but.................Upgrade your Office 365 to a version with Outlook included. ?

You could try running Outlook in compatibility mode for XP or Win 7. I wouldn't hold out much hope with this but it's simple enough to try.
