Microsoft Word Oddness.

Well it seems microsoft word decided to act odd. It seems anytime I open a new document the paragraph symbol ( ¶ )appears. And I can't seem to delete it. Anytime I make a new line, a new paragraph line. Sometimes arrows point at my words. And inbetween words in my documents small dots appear. When I print preview it disappears but they are quite annoying. Anybody know how to remedy this? Well thanks in advance.

This is the paragraph marker. To get rid of it there may a ¶ button on your toolbar or on the Format menu. I suspect that your Normal.dot the basic Word template has the show format symbols on by default.

 

Sorry, I figured it out, I was about delete this but I had to go to tools, options, view and then uncheck all. I wondered who checked it :|...Thanks anyway.
