Microsoft's Optical Desktop w/Fingerprint Reader

OK, here's the deal. I won this desktop set from work and was messing around with the fingerprint reader. The thing that stinks is that it won't let me use the fingerprint reader to do such things as encrypt files. Does anyone know of a program out there that can utilize this fingerprint reader to do file encryption? (I'm running XP Pro if it makes a difference...)

 

Okay, I've figured out that the software for the fingerprint reader is made by DigitalPersona, who also makes software for their own line of fingerprint readers. The software for their products allows the user to encrypt data. Do you think there would be some way to get their software and use it with the Microsoft keyboard?
