midnight club 2

Anyone tried this game? I did and if you haven't yet don't!!!!! Was a waste of 40.00. Couldnt even get it to work with my racing wheel. Plus it just downright sucked in my opinion of course

Haven't tried it.. is it better than grand turismo? NO? well forget it..

 

For those who have seen it, how does it compare to Need for Speed-Underground, better/worse?
I looked at the website, and it looks to be of the "Fast and the Furious" style street racing games.

 

NFSU and Midnight Club 2 are similar.

NFSU allows for A LOT of customization.
Midnight Club 2 has better tracks, but no cars are using their real name or anything like that. You can prety much tell what they are. The AI in MC2 is superior.

Both games are good. Only thing that NFSU holds over MC2 is the customization. Otherwise, MC2 is the superior game, IMO.

 

aw they didnt get rights for the cars? I really like to be able to drive real ones.. I got this mod for GTA3 that has all real cars in it and it really improved it. Now I want to play =P

 

You know I have that mod too, but it killed my performance so bad that I reinstalled the game and left it off. Whenever I would get near the more detailed models, I would drop to under 10fps. This in turn caused me to crash most of the time.

A shame, i really liked driving the real cars.

I figured my system would handle it.

We have the same system but I have 512mb of pc3200 ram and the radeon 8500 (old one not LE) lol.

I do notice it eats up all the memory and my pagefile is like 2gb.. but overall it always plays fast maybe because i play low res with a controller...

 

Possibly so.

I have a 19in monitor, so I try to play games with 1280x960x32.

I dropped down to 1024, but then it wasn't worth it anymore

 

i think its pretty good overall good to play and all i got the demo and thought it was pretty good and i agree it aint the best but it tides over i had to change my os to get the game to work and reconfigure my keyboard, and the worst problem is the sound lag it isnt static or nothing it just comes up during video speech blank speech blank almost like trying to read a scratched record and it aint just for that any bink video game does this to me but hey take the chance wait till its cheaper though
