Might and Magic Heros V

I borrowed this game from a friend who had a problem loading it, so I tried to see if I could load it and I had the same problem. The problem is that when we put it in to install it it loads the first disc then it tells me to put in the third disc not the second. When he tried to play the game anyway without the second disc it errored out. Im not quite sure if the problem is with the game discs or our computers. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
