Mini duct

Out shopping today came across this blue UV Reactive 120mm-80mm duct,so I got it as a project to quiet/cool down my a643500 winchester,I'm gonna stick it straight on the stock HSF with a good 120mm fan,any thoughts on performance?,I'm thinking maybe the fan compressing and heating the air through the 80mm hole and fins might cancel out the cooling?

I also bought this jeantech 120mm fan FLFAN120BL with 4 blue leds,but when I plugged it in is was vibrating all over the place and pretty noisey,65cfm at 35dba it sounds alot louder any thoughts on these fans.

This is where I'm gonna stuff it all,it just fits.

 

I've used one of those reducers for quite some time - there's no issue with crompessing and heating the air but there is an issue at high fan speeds. There will be a maximum airflow through the fans that a 120mm would be able to exceed. So you would very probably get higher temperatures at 100% rpm than at 70% rpm.
As you will only probably need to run at around 2000 rpm your only problem should be trying to believe the fan is running - because you wont hear it!

 

Miscalculation 85cfm at 35 db,I had to work it out because the site used m3 per min,but still very unbalanced.It would shake everything into a noise louder than the stock HSF. .

I want 4 intake fans"low noise 120"for the side panel,1medium power with a third pin for the cpu fan and 2 high power extractors to remove the hot air.

I would also like your opinions on Antec silver thermal compound
