MIOError and missing shared drivers

I hope I am in the right forum. I downloaded Everest Home Edition and ran it. Hope I chose the right settings. I am back to trying to encode the multimedia project I created. Roxio won't do it and now Magix won't do it.

MAGIX ERROR MESSAGE: "Seek Error". and "MIOError: OUTOFMEMORY." "Encoding of slideshows failed. No files found." Then it told me that A Summer Place.wav could not be deleted. I am a bit confused.

This is something I have tried with Magix, to no avail:
1. Went into "Encoder settings" on the final burn screen then "Advanced" settings and checked that the video format is NTSC. And reset the program.
2. Downloaded the latest MAGIX burn routines to better communicate to burning hardware. Downloaded them from the site below and followed the instructions:

1. Click "Downloads"
2. Click "TOOLS"
3. Click "Latest Burnroutines"
4. Download.
5. Please deactivate all Magix programs and any other programs (eg Virus
scanner) running in the background.
6. Install by double-clicking on the file.
5. Reboot your PC.

When all that didn't work, I ran my registry cleaner and saw that many shared drivers were missing. As attachments, I have included the Everest Home Edition report and a hijackthis log.

I used Magix to create the mpg's and Roxio to create the DVD project.
I contacted Magix by e-mail and they had me download and run a syscheck program. While running it, I got this message: Creative ASIO
CTASIO WARNING
There are no Creative audio products installed and running on the system that support ASIO

Could this be part of my problem? I found this on wikipedia:
ASIO4ALL — a free universal ASIO driver for Windows that brings ASIO support to users of virtually all consumer-grade soundcards and integrated audio chipsets. It also supports semi-pro and pro digital audio systems.

Should I do this?

 

Magix has e-mailed instructions as to how to fix the problem.
I am going to look at it and will let you know what happens.
Also, I do believe the Roxio Clean Install instructions are what has caused my problem.

WORD TO THE WISE! Following Roxio's clean install procedure has ruined my computer. I can't reformat and the restore doesn't appear to have worked - my computer will now only boot up in Safe Mode. Looks like it is a new hard drive for me - thanks to Roxio and the fact that I was so naiive that I believed in the solution procedure they provided. Wish me luck.
