Mirar link box

Hello,

I'm not quite sure how to rid myself of this Mirar search/link box that has made a permanent home in my IE. I have tried to remove it from the list of programs but it seems to never go away. I used Spybot thinking it would get rid of it but it is still there.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try using a registry editing tool to remove the registry entry it has left. A good one to download is RegClean and is available right here on MG. Just go to the Registry section of MG which can be accessed at the bottom of this page. The programs are in alphabetical order and then just download it and run it. Don't worry, it will back up your registry entries just in case you delete one that wasn't supposed to be deleted. Also, you should see about deleting some other registry entries seeing as it will make your shut down and start up time a whole lot faster.

also agreed with Neonemesis but i suggest you use regedit to search manually for anything listed with that name, of course back up your registry first
not sure how advanced a user you are so if you need help with editing and exporting your registry just ask
