mirc and firefox

    does anyone know how to set up firefox so when i go to packetnews.com or some other such site and click to join a channel i can actually join it.

    Sorry I think I figured it out it was not the firefox but the mirc. I had a dde server box unchecked and i did change it a few days back out of worry. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what this DDE SERVER option in mirc is for? I thought it was allowing some server rights.
