Mirc Help

CAN ANYONE PLEASE help me with mirc I can get into the channel and view all the info scrolling and all the users on the right but how do I suscribe or view downloadable lists?? Anyone?

 

Been a long time since I've been on IRC. Had a channel on Undernet.

Most channels worth joining usually provide greetings with information and instructions
for joining the channel or accessing their help files. If you're able to joint the channel, most block all non-members and you are only allowed to view. They have script bots active to protect their channels. Some can be very nasty. Be careful.

its easy... right click on a name that you would like to list... go to ctcp > xdcc > list... the list will scroll past on the screen... then when you see the file you wish to download for the bot you have chosen you will need to take not of the pack number... it will usually say paxk #number

then you right click again ctcp > xdcc > get and you wil ger a popup box asking for....

wait for it....

.....

yeah you got it... the pack number type #number and it will send you the file or queue you untill it is ready for you

HOWEVER be carefull not all people like to have people looking at their lists... it will normally warn you then kick you if it is not allowed
