this is a really stupid question
    I bought a mircoSD card(toshiba) with a standard adapte
its for my razor cell phone and I plugged the micro card into the adapter and plugged that into my computer's mmSD slot and the green indicator light came on, and I can't find how to move files to the card.
No screen popped like like when I plug in a USB cord that shows me the card

I am runnning XP, can someone tell me me mundane step I am missing?

I won't mention I ripped open the package as I could not find any way to open it otherwise and thus ripped the instruction book

EDIT: it might be a driver,I am getting a LG18-pin charging data cable so that should make it work, right?

Still, it may not automatically open. If you have the sound turned on, when you plug the device in you should here a 'glonk' or 'blongk' type sound. With Vista, you'll get a balloon saying the device is working properly. If it doesn't open automatically, simply open "My Computer" (or "Computer" in Vista) and you should see it listed as a removable drive or storage device. You can then drag-n-drop files, or right click the files and use "Send To" to copy them to the SD card.
