I recently went through the read and run me first steps to clean my system of the networm.kido trojan. I followed all the steps except I'm unsure whether I really cleaned my laptop. What I just found out is that I wanted to update my Windows to sp3 and I couldn't because I lost the Active X control installation. It does not appear below the toolbar anymore and the Windows update center will not work without it. What should I do?

I'm sorry no, not from last year. That problem was fixed last year. This is new, just this week. I am attaching the logs from mbam and mgtools. I can't seem to find the SAS logs though but I know I ran that too.
    Thanks in advance!

You need to go back to malware, post whatever logs they want there to see if your computer is really clean.
Once one of the experts declares it clean, if you have problems, then post back here.

It's clean, and nothing works. The whole bar is gone, and my address bar on top is empty along with the small address indicaters on the bottom of the screen.
