missing Cookies folder in Docs and Settings

XPsp2. There's one for admin, guest, default user...but not for me as user. No problems noted, but I thought there was a folder in the past to hold the cookies.

 

You evidently dont have a user name, one of them folders should be yours. ed

 

No, I have a user folder which is my first name, just no Cookies folder once I open my name folder.

 

If you go to control panel/user accounts/ is your name listed? Are you logged in as a administrator?

 

yes, i'm listed in user accounts in control panel. I log in as myself, i have admin rights as well. Actually i don't log in with each boot up, my desktop automatically comes up...I'm the only user.

 

Click START, then RUN, then type in: explorer "c:\documents and settings\%username%"

This shoudl bring up your documents and settings.

my best guess is that you are the administrator, from the list that you gave. I.E. the administrator directory (folder) contains your info.

 

I may need to clarify...I have my own first name folder in docs and settings, just when I open it, there's no Cookies folder there along with the other various folders. Shouldn't there be? If its one I deleted by mistake, Windows hasn't recreated it. There is a Cookies folder when I open admin, default user, or guest folders.
