missing cursor in frontpage 2003

I am having major difficulty finding anyone else who has experienced a problem like this. I use frontpage 2003 at my job. I just installed it at home. It works fine at work but at home when I go to type on a page I do not have the blinking type cursor. I can type but have to guess where I am. am I missing something that is simple and no one else is dumb enough to have the same problem.
