missing disc

hello my problem is that, I have a IBM T42 ThinkPad. all my disc are lost;I had to replace my hard dive. I can't get on the internet to find my needed drivers. what do i have to do to get these drivers.Is there a way to get this information,for me to put on a cd.:cry

 

What is you lack of connection problem? Best bet is to go to a friend's house who has a CD burner drive and a connection. Make the disc, and upload it to your IBM. What else you can do is go to IBM and open a service query, thereby discussing the issue with their tech support staff.

Your laptop is quite dated, and unless the RAM is maxed out, you may find it difficult to use online. Virus and anti-spyware software do have a habit of eating up system resources, even using AVG free and Spybot. What are your system specs? That is, processor, memory, operating system, etc.

 

Also, you may be able to procure recovery discs from IBM by contacting their support staff. For example, Dell doesn't charge for recovery discs, just pay shipping. HP charges nominal fees, usually less than twenty bucks, plus shipping.
