Missing Setting After Uninstalling Gwx Control Panel Bf W10 Upgrade

Hi, I posted this elsewhere earlier but I'm looking for some help to get this done asap. May well end up in emergency neurosurgery next week so reaching out whenever I can be upright. Thx for any help in advance.

I have physical disabilities and may well end up in neurosurgery early next week. I'm limited w amt of time I can be upright. Dell Vostro 1015 w 4gb ram + with all hardware needed info to update to W10. But I loaded GWX control panel yrs ago (now removed)...though I think it changed a setting file that isn't allowing W10 to complete.

I updated to all latest W7 files. Cleaned the system as best I could (though there are still old antiviral and malware folders C Program files. I went through malwarewarebytes, bitdefender scanning, ccleaner (including registry cleaner), backed up registry (w tweaking.com from your site) then did tweaking.com all in one repair.

Downloaded W10 install and went through the install fine. But at the very end it gave 2 notices and reverted to W7.

"We couldn't install Windows 10 (so reverted back to W7).
0 (or O?) 0xC1900101 - 0x30018
The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with error during SYSPREP_SPECIALIZE operation"

Then I received "Please visit: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=528892"

Very sorry that I'm currently so limited being upright. Just trying to get it addressed bf ending up in the hospital and someone moves my things (as I move in 1 month). Very grateful for any help. I can check back in a short while.

 

There is also a large temp file in C: (which includes many of those program folders no longer on my system). Can that folder (or those files be deleted?)
And I have ~39-40gb of free hard drive space for the upgrade. Also ran disc clean up and defrag.

Also, I reached out to you directly bc if the medical urgency. But Ive worked w Tim and others in the past. VERY GRATEFUL to all of you for being on the same path of helping to make the world a better place.

If you used an upgrade method other than the Media Creation Tool then give that a try. The error you have encountered was very common at the time of the free upgrade using GWX but I see few complaints from ppl using the MCT.

 

Thanks so very much. Setting it up again for the short period that I'm upright. I downloaded MCT and used it but I think it tried to install W10 bf MCT...try it in reverse?
Will also clean and clear registry w cp and to be safe, run tweaking.com all in one repairs again (if you/anyone thinks that's needed). So sorry this is under such a time crunch but thank you for any thoughts.
