missing sex file 53

Dear all,

i am having a problem whith my new pc HELP!!!

i have recently been conected to the internet and since then am reciving the below error message on startup of my pc

(SEX missing file 53)

i cant use the msconfig in the run menu and my 1mg internet connection is realy slow, i have had bt do a line check on my phone and they say everything is ok is this linked to the error message and how do i solve it i have used norton anti virus and it picks nothing up

i think by looking at that explaination that you have a something installed you should'nt its installed itself at the start/run procedure hence message coming up at start up firstly make sure all anti-virus defanitons are up to date and start in safe mode and run a system scan if you do find something run msconfig and look in the here for a suspicus entry and delete it if your not sure what is ,there are a list of programs to run at start up

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

any probs post back before you delete anything
