Has anyone ran into a problem where the taskbar is missing in Win XP? I am currently working on a machine where the startmenu and all is gone.
It is not hidden. I can actually barely make it out. Though it will not resize. I can move the mouse down to the edge and get the resize cursor but it does nothing. I have gone to the taskbar properties and it constantly resets to lock the taskbar. I have changed the windows display settings to no avail. So if anybody has any suggestions they are welcomed.

If what jujet84 said doesn't work,... then make sure your not running XP with no service pack installed. There was a taskbar issue that got resolved in SP1.
