    Recently noticed that I'm having certain text not loading (particularly if using Ebay). The only way I can 'read' it is by right clicking in the space where the text should be and viewing frame source. Not sure if this is a Google Chrome problem or Windows. Below is an example of what the frame source shows.

    <script type="text/javascript">
    window.onerror = function(message, url, line) {
    return true;
    };
    </script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var ebayItemID='321331152602';
    var ebayItemRevisionTime='0';
    var ebayAskSellerURL='http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ShowSellerFAQ&iid=321331152602&requested=chesse08&redirect=0&frm=284&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l1499&ssPageName=PageSellerM2MFAQ_VI';
    var _odtTitle = '';
    var _odtSubTitle = '';
    var _isTranslError = false;
    var _sellerId = 'chesse08';
    var _dmn = 'ebay.com';
    </script>
    <table align="center" style="border-spacing: 0px; width: 100%;">
    <tr>
    <td>
    <div id="ds_div">

    How can I put this right? :cry

    HI

    What Windows version and Service Pack do you have?

    Do you have issues in Internet Explorer as well on ebay?

    Do you have latest version of Java installed? if not then do install it as well as update your Chrome and maybe wise to re-download and install Chrome as the updater can be funky at times and not update.

    If that doesn't work, then if you have any popup blocker applications then disable them or boot into Safe Mode with Networking (F8 at boot) and see if you get the same issue.

    You don't need java installed to view webpages. Only one of the 8 computers in my house has java on it and it is disabled in both browsers. We haven't had problems with pages not showing text.

    In majority of cases you do not, but there is always the exception on specific sites and <script type="text/javascript"> looks like script error, so worth a troubleshoot and install and check if java is the issue.

    Unless you have an alternative solution? I'd love to hear it as you didn't give one.

    It may even be the case if Java is installed on this users PC, that uninstalling it clears up the issue, just narrowing down the issues.
