    Hi all

I am running xp home edition and when it logs on at the start it gives me 2 display errors on the desktop, the first is dmxpi32.dll cannot be found and the second is iruluyirogo.dll cannot be found. I have searched sites on the net that list xp's dll's and neither of these 2 are there. The error started after a virus problem which I cleared with Malware but these 2 msgs keep appearing no matter what. Do I need to find and download them from somewhere or can I get in to the registry files or somewhere else and stop the program from searching for them? Everything seems to run all right without the files (as far as I can tell).
    Hoping someone can help.
    Many thanx in advance.

    Cheers
    Loz

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

    Greetings, Lozzle.

Are you sure the machine is clean? The statement "I cleared with Malware" led me to believe you had gone through the Read and Run Me First - have you done so?

Do the symptoms change when booting to Safe Mode?

You can first create a Restore Point, and then search your Registry for instances of these files, try to find out what's calling for them.

What bothers me is that, if these are not Windows files, then what is looking for them?

    Hi Caliban
Thanks for your response, you have asked some good questions, I will need to check out safe mode and see what results. I think the machine is clear because I ran Malwarebytes twice, first time it found a trojan, second time it was clean.
    I will continue the search!!
    Thanks again for you info.
    Regards
    Loz.

You have a couple of registry keys calling on those dlls. Download to your Root folder ( typically the C:\ drive )
    MGtools

Run the exe and attach the resulting log = C:\MGLogs.zip.

I am sure it is in the reg files that can easily be removed as they are malware leftovers.

    Hi Tim
I have installed MGtools and run it however I am not sure where/when to attach the C:\MGLogs.zip.

    Cheers
