So, I updated to vista w/o checking compatibility *smacks palm to face* and just about after a lot of searching all my drivers work.

My video card is Mobility Radeon 9600, but only the 9200 drivers work with vista, which I have installed now for some better resolution. IS there anyway to get the 9600 drivers, because now I can't even run old games on this laptop.

Any help would be appreciated these forums helped me out so much in my driver hunt.

    Hi

As ATi dont supply Mobility drivers, what is the manufacturer of your laptop and the model version of the laptop as they "may" have drivers as its the laptop makers that supply these, although some do actually automatically install direct from MSFT when Vista is installed or run Windows Update and look for any Optionals as those are at times drivers.

    Hi

Seems HP have none for your model PC, however and its a very long shot to wether they will work is that Dell have Mobilty Radeon drivers for their laptops and Vista 32bit here top one and its files look fine, although at times Dell do add code to stop drivers or software installing on non Dell PCs.

SO do backup your PC and even run a Restore Point if you decide to attempt this driver as it may or may not work.

    Hi

Pitty that, cannot find any others at present that may work I'm afraid. At times some drivers cover a multitude of model GFX Cards and the Mobility Radeon is one of them, just must be nearest fit to the 9600.

Great on new laptop, but thought of one more thing to possibly try as from your screenshot I noticed missing Chipset drivers, now as ATo chipset bases PCs have a unified driver with chipset and VGA built in then its remotly possible we maybe able to find a Vista chipset for your model of chipset, so if you have Everest then click Computer > Summary then post whats next to Motherboard Chipset.
