My HAF-x case came with a little cord it told me was the motherboard post/emergency audio speaker. I found out where to plug it in on the motherboard but I was wondering if I have to plug it in anything else? I find the manuals very unhelpful.

Not sure what you mean? it should just plug straight onto the MB

Well that's exactly what I thought, but this is my first time building a computer ALL by myself and I just wanted to double check.

Its usually a four pin plug with only 2 cables connected that connects straight to your MB. The other end will be soldered straight to the speaker. It doesnt matter what way round you connect the speaker.

Usually all the front LEDs for HD and Power connect there two... They do matter what way round they go!;)

Have fun with your build. Once you have started you will never go back!:dood
