    I have dual boot pc.
    W2K & Xp pro
    Gigabyte GV-7VT600 1394 (F4 bios version)
    CPU XP 2500
    512mb Samsung PC3200 DDR
    80gb sata hdd
    Radeon 9200se
    ATI TV Wounder VE
    Nec ND-2510A DVD+-RW
    CD-rom
    Samsung floppy

Here is my Mobo Battery question?
Can a bad or failing mobo battery cause the Date & time to be shown incorrect?
In date and time properties is set to auto adjust for daylight savings, also to auto synchronize with an internet time sever.
I dont leave pc on all the time when ever I shut down, the next day power up computer the time is incorrect, I dont use this pc every day, sometimes when powered up will even show incorrect Date, same problem exists regardless of either OS I boot too. (been problem for about two weeks)

    Second question?
    Regarding network controller
As far as I know had this sinse pc was built.
In system info under problem devices this is listed:
    Network Controler PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_D104&SUBSY... CODE 22
I Have Disabled some time ago, now under problem devices instead of code 22, reads the device is disabled, cause I disabled in device manager!
I get same, problem device, regardless of either OS I boot too.
In device manager same problem, I have tryed to update drivers, I have uninstalled when reboot windows finds new hardware but is unable to locate driver from windows/mobo cd/internet etc,
Sinse PC was built HDD has been wiped and formatted several times, same network controller problem always there. (rig built aprox 18 months ago)
Same problem was there when I was running Bios version F1, using F4 now.
Aside from being listed in device manager and system info, everything works fine.
Anyone have any Ideas, maybe I'm missing something?

    Thanks!

Is it a built in NIC? If not then I'd suggest reseating it, cleaning the contacts and making sure the case is holding it in position nicley.

I used to get errors where my graphics card would "dissapear" from the system at random intervals, because it was being held inproperly by the case, causing it to come out while the machine was in use . Hours of troubleshooting later, I installed a sound card and saw the metal was bent, bent it back into position and voila, fully functioning PC :D

Thanks Flip, that's what I thought, guess I'll get new battery.

Hey Goldfish, PC Mobo has onboard eithernet and modem, My internet service is broadband cable, never use dial up.
As I said before I have not had any problem other than being listed in problem devices and device manager.
The PC is networked with 5 other rigs, all can share and communicate with each other, and access Internet.
    Is just irratating.
