MOBO Eithernet Driver

Hey Everyone need someone again
My bro brought over this monstrasity of a computer and I got it up and running for him with one of my extra hd's and other parts got everything to work cool and cosh but the on board eithernet controller cant seem to find a driver through windows I do know the mobo is from compaq can I just take a number from somewhere because the website wants particular style which I have no clue what style of compaq this was at one time. Any help appreciated.

Run Belarc to find out what the onboard NIC is.

Once that is identified, you can search for a driver for that chip. You can't assume that every Compaq has the same nboard chip inside.

Thanks everyone for the sites they all helped to find the drivers, and names for internal parts to make his computer work and it is going pretty good thanks again.
