Would i be able to put my P4 2.7 GHz Processor in this motherboard?
I am asking this because i have heard that are different sockets and i dont need to get screwed.
And would i be able to put this kind of ram in the RAM slots.
    MOTHERBOARD:http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=9841&promoid=0
    RAM:http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=9545&vpn=SAMSUNG3200-512M&manufacture=Samsung
    Two more things.
    1. Would it be hard to put the Processor chip in the socket myself?
    2.Would this heatsink fit in.
    HEATSINK:http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=10395&vpn=A1889-01&manufacture=THERMALTAKE
    Thanks for any help.
And please let me know of anything concerning this motherboard.

Would be hard for me to Know what your skill level and capabilities are, some folks just shouldnt touch a butter knife letalone a screwdriver.
If you have to ask what mobo your P4 will fit in I'd say your not quite ready to build your own yet, didnt you just purchase an agp card for a mother board that dont have an agp slot, OPP's.
First you should do a little reasearch and learn a few things, will save you few bucks and few headachs Look here some good links:

The heat sink ya posted appears to be socket A that will work for athlon cpu, useless for P4.
The mobo link is for socket 478 for P4, so IF you have P4 socket 478 cpu it will fit.
The ram link is standard 184pin DDR it is fine for the mobo at your link, another note, that board is dual channel so buy two sticks of ram so you can run in dual channel.
All those links for product from same company, I suggest you look to Tigerdirect or Newegg probably find a better deal. Pricewatch too!

Installing cpu/heatsink is usually easy, if you fail to install properly result's could be fried cpu, if you purchase retail version instruction are included, motherboard manual should also provide instructions.

Ok, so, the P4 Processor will fit?
Also, i have done some work on the inside of a computer...installed 2 ram sticks and i also added a HDD.
    Wow, dual channel...nice.
I might just bring it to a pro.
Also, i live in Canada and i dont have a credit card(too young).
    I use electronic payment.

It's not the hardest thing but the most dangerous if you screw up. Don't worry computers can take some punishment. Just dont' force it in the socket it should just drop in. BTW all processors except the exact latests ones are 478 since they supassed teh 2.0ghz mark. The latests are 775 and they don't have pins on them so you'll definitly know the difference. As for your 2.7ghz it'll fit like a beaut. Nice board by the way.

Perhaps I should have started a new thread for this. I bought a P4 chip as a test for p4 boards, will the p4 power up in all socket 478 mobo's. I put it in a known good mobo and got nothing, thats why I'm asking.

It depends on the speed of the chip, and whether the motherboard can handle it. Or, the mobo could just need a BIOS update. Let us know the make/model of the CPU and Motherboard.

The chip is 1.6 the mobo is running a 2.4 overclocked to 2.66 I set the bios to auto chip and nothing.
