Mobo question - new video card

I am currently in the market for a new video card, because I have the integrated extreme graphics card, which is pretty bad. I am looking at this one. My motherboard might not support AGPX8 though, model # 0G1548, A00. Does anyone know if I will be able to support this video card with my current motherboard? Any and all help is appreciated!

 

you'll need to pop open the side of the case to find out for sure. when you see the motherboard, you'll notice some pci slots lined up in parallel. these are light beige in color. on the very top of the stack, you may notice a medium brown colored "pci" slot that is positioned more forward to the front. this is your agp slot.

if you have an agp slot, download everest (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4181) and check what model chipset you have. as long as it's greater than or equal to 815, then your video card will work.

Haha, hey I'm about to go to boot camp in a few months, might as well start now!

 

Doesn't have to be brown fyi. Its the only slanted slot on the board closest to the CPU.

 

I still did not see any other open slots, not to mention slanted ones.
