Mobo Question

    hey guys i was just curious i don't know much about motherboards and on my one its got 4 ram slots but two are blue and two are purple? i was wondering what the diffrence is and/or if there is a diffrence.

    They are on different channels.

    You can mix ram amongst them, but if you don't put matching ram in the colored slots, then you won't get dual channel capability from your ram.
