Moby Dick User Account???

OK.. this is the strangest thing I've ever seen. I wasn't sure where to put it but this seems like the best place.

I just got home and turned my computer on after being at work all day. And When Vista booted up and was ready to log in.. there was anew account profile next to mine. It was named Moby Dick... Now I live alone and I thought my network was secure.. how could someone add a new user profile on my computer.. where did this come from? Can I find out when it was added or more info on how it came to be? This is the strangest thing I've ever seen.

 

In WinXP you could just go to C:\Documents and Settings, then right click the user name and select 'Properties' and it should tell you when the folder was created. The process should be the same (or very similar) for Vista. You're right, this is a very strange occurrence. If using a wireless router, be sure it's password protected (as in using a WEP/WPA key) and be sure to change the default login info for the router. Many routers can be accessed by simply typing the IP into a browser (like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) then trying a few default user names and passwords (like 'admin' and 'password') and someone can get in to the router and raise hell from there. If you haven't done either of these tasks, download the manual for your router from the maker's web page and IMMEDIATELY install a different user name and password for the router, and set up a WEP/WPA key.
