Mod a HP printer to receive FAX's wirelessly

I have a HP 4215V all-in-one. I'd like to place it in a location where there is no phone jack. Is there a way to MOD the product to receive FAX's thru a cordless/wireless device or MOD???

 

Im guessing so.. Somewhat like a wireless phone works. Im sure someone has done this, some google searching should find you what your looking for.

theoretically it is possible with a cordless phone. You just have to some taking apart of the phone and rewiring and solve some problems like keeping the set charged. This sounds like an experiment project.

 

Modding the printer will void the warranty. What you can do is use a Telephone extender device that plugs into your electrical outlet.

It would never work, due to what is going to monitor to place the line "off hook" when a call comes through? You would be better doing the above as I mentioned, or just running a telephone line which is not actually that hard to do.

I think ur advice about the phone extender is the best option.
But I bet the techno-wizz's would love to develope that new mod.
