Modacom Wimax U1300 usb dongle with windows 8

I am not being able to use my modacom u1300 wimax usb dongle on windows 8 where as before on windows 7 it was working fine.

I checked device manager and it says driver not loaded. I have localised the driver and tried to update manually but am unable to do so. Also tried to use all compatibility modes and also run as administrator nothing seems to work!

Any solution will be most appreciated as this has been bugging me for lat one week.
