My modem is not working. I have Pentium 2 Processor, 128MB RAM, with Windows 98. I contacted AOL (my ISP) to get help and they told me that my modem was outdated. Although it was working fine just a few days prior. One other problem, I don't know how to find the name of my modem and have tried looking for info on it, but have several modem booklets and don't know which one belongs to my computer. I've looked under system properties and can't find my modem. Help!!!

how is it not working? if it's just dead and can't be detected by your computer or aol software, then you should just get a new one. they can be gotten for around $10.

if it's dialing and won't connect, then aol's right (for once) and you'll need to get a new modem.
