Modem

Is my sound driver located in my modem, because I have searched everywhere and I can't find the right driver to reinstall my sound. I downloaded the right sound driver from hp and still nothing. The modem is a Agiere 1648C-TV3, I made the modem installed, but sound just will not come in, so exactly when i down the file, do i have to extract it or just open it.

 

sound driver located in modem?? that sounds very bizarre!!!!
look on driverguide.com for the driver, i would give you the correct one for you but i'm doing a lot of research at the moment, and briefly came on here!
Also, have you got the latest drivers for your current soundcard/ modem? if you look in device manager and see what you've got then you can double check!!
