I'm a bit confused as to how this is possible, but, I recently installed the latest version of Sabayon and all that. And I'm trying to compile ndiswrapper. When I enter the make command, I get some nonsense about "can't find kernel build files".

So, I look in /lib/modules/2.6.20-sabayon-r3, and atempt to double-click the build file. I get something like "/lib/modules/2.6.20-sabayon-r3/build does not seem to exist anymore."

I've never experienced anything like this, so I'm out of ideas. If someone with more experience on the matter would care to shed some light, I'd be quite pleased.

Also, I'm using the mini version of Sabayon 3.3b

    Thanks in advance.

Most distributions don't include the kernel sources (found in /usr/src/linux). It sounds like yours is missing.

The file should contain folders and files like these:
    /arch
    /block
    /crypto
    /Documentation
    /drivers
    /fs
    /include
    /init
    /ipc
    /kernel
    /lib
    /mm
    /net
    /scripts
    /security
    /sound
    /usr
    COPYING
    CREDITS
    Kbuild
    MAINTAINERS
    Makefile
    Module.symvers
    patches.txt
    README
    REPORTING-BUGS
    System.map
    vmlinux

If not, then it is not complete.
