MOHAA installation problem.

Apart from system specs, do this also happen to any other software you may have on CD/DVD not installing with same error?

Have you scanned for malware on your PC as this error can occur if infected?


Also run from a command line, Start > Run this command sfc /scannow and have your Windows CD/DVD ready as same error can be if services.exe is corrupted.

But also do run sfc /scannow and tell us if you have had malware (virus or trojans on your PC)? Quick online scan to try is this one here, dont need you to attach the log at all just mention if the scan finds any malware.

In my answer of an online antivirus scan, I dont need to see a copy of what the resulting log (a log is a list of steps and information that a software program or scan can provide), just need to know if it highlighted or mentioned malware as in Virus, Trojan, Keylogger etc


Have you run run sfc /scannow ?

Are other CD/DVD software applications you not installing? (need to see if this is only MOHAA doing this or you are having issues installing other software)

What are your PCs specifications (an attached Everest log would give this information, just need to follow the steps given earlier)?

Is the DVD/CD scratched of damaged?
