MOHAA problem

My brother is having trouble with his MOHAA game. He said that in the middle of play the screen goes gray,switches back to the desktop for a few seconds,then the game comes back up. It happens about every 10 minutes or so. What could be the problem?

 

I think the problem is that the game keeps going to desktop and popping back up again every 10minutes .

Seriously though, could be popups / adware.

 

Thanks for replying. I will tell him to run spybot and ad-aware. Hopefully that will fix the problem. If not I know I wil be back on here again.

 

You also might want to check for updates to men of honor because it could be a bug in the game.

 

i doubt its a bug, i got Medal Of Honor Allied Assault and i never had that problem. try for spyware first.

 

Just because you never had a problem doesn't mean it's not possible.

There are so many different hardware setups, that bugs are almost certain.

 

Hey everyone. Well,he ran all Spybot and Ad-Aware,and updated his game and it's still doing it. What else could be wrong? Would uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it help?

 

These bugs are usually driver related.

Reinstalling is a good idea, but completely uninstall it first.

If there are any remnant files, reinstalling won't help, so manually delete anything that stubbornly remains after you uninstall it. (Make sure you have hidden files and folders showing)

If that doesn't work, next thing to do is update your video card drivers, and make sure you have the latest version of DirectX.

Also, see if there are any patches from the manufacturers' website.
